I can use an app on my phone to control them, changing everything from the color, to the brightness level, pattern, speed and I can even set them to music!  I also set a schedule for the lights. The lights are so bright and colorful that you can notice them during the daytime, if they are on. I have been having fun playing with all of the lighting presets that come with the app, as well as creating my own. It’s great coming home to a brightly lit and colorful  house. For the overnight hours, I chose to schedule my lights to change to a warmer, dimmer light. The installation was flawless and it’s so nice that my husband no longer needs to climb onto the roof twice a year to put up and take down Christmas lights in the freezing cold. It’s April and I already set my lighting pattern for Christmas!  I even have my lights planned for Memorial Day, 4th of July, St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, and all of our backyard get togethers this coming summer. Nassau County Christmas light questions

When should I book Christmas light installation in Nassau County?

Book by early October for the best pick of install dates. Nassau County fills up faster than Suffolk most years, and the North Shore villages are usually full by early November. Installs run from late September through mid-December, and the price rises the closer you get to the holidays because the calendar tightens. If you are reading this in November, still call: cancellations open up and the crews add dates.

Do I have to buy the lights?

No. The lights are included in the price as a rental. They are commercial-grade strands and clips, custom-cut to your roofline, and they go back into storage with us at the end of the season. You do not own them, you do not store them, and you do not replace them when a strand fails. If you would rather own your lights permanently, that is what the permanent LED roofline system is for.

What happens if a section goes dark in December?

Call us and a crew is back within 48 hours. That is the Stay-Lit Guarantee, and it is included, not an add-on. Mid-season repairs are part of the all-inclusive price, so there is no service-call fee and no argument about whose fault it was. Most fixes are a failed connector or a strand knocked loose by wind, and they take a few minutes once someone is on the ladder.

Do you take the lights down?

Yes, takedown is included. Crews start in early January and work through the month. You do not need to be home, and you do not need to do anything. The lights come down, the clips come off the gutters and fascia, and everything goes into storage until next season. Nothing stays on the house through the spring, which is the complaint most people have about the guy they hired last year.

Are you insured, and can you send a certificate?

Yes. Yule Love Lights is fully insured and a certificate of insurance is available on request. That comes up often in Nassau County, where HOAs, co-op boards, and gated communities in places like Old Westbury and Kings Point ask for one before a contractor sets foot on the property. Ask when you book and we will send it over. Our installers are also CLIPA-certified, which is the industry certification for Christmas light professionals.

Can you match what my neighbor had done?
